This brace is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and is then finish-anodized in black for long-lasting surface protection. The brace simply bolts over the factory tensioner using the provided longer bolts, and when installed, prevents the tensioner from bending outward. A special Delrin insert is installed in the back of the brace to prevent metal-to-metal contact when the tensioner is heavily-loaded. The kit is a complete bolt-on, and requires no cutting, drilling, or any irreversible changes for installation. The kit includes the precision-machined billet plate with the Delrin insert, three aluminum spacers, and three Grade 8 cap screws with washers.
