SPEEDGLASS is G.E. LEXAN with a propietary coating that is applied to both sides of the window after it has been molded. This coating provides a very thin outer \"sheel\" that is virtually as hard as glass. Underneath the coating \"shell\" is \"HO\"(High Optics) LEXAN polycarbonate, which is very soft and somewhat flexible.
